Philosophy

JVDS provides a highly reliable and cost-effective UNMANAGED virtual private server hosting service. In order to maintain our highly competitive pricing and rock solid network and server reliability, we unfortunately have to sacrifice something. All JVDS services are provided UNMANAGED, which means that we DO NOT provide technical support for most issues pertaining to your service. If you require technical support for an issue outside of the list below, you may pre-purchase support in 30 minute blocks at the rate of $75.00 US Dollars per hour.

What We Support:

1. Network related problems

• We consider this to include the inability to connect to your server relating to incidents within our network but outside of your physical virtual private server.
• We DO NOT consider this to include the inability to connect to a specific running service on your server such as a web server or mail server.
• If you can connect to Secure Shell ( SSH ) on a Linux server or Remote Desktop on a Windows server, your server is online and you should NOT request technical support

2. Virtuozzo related problems

• We consider this to include problems with Parallels Power Panel that are outside of the control of the customer such as the inability to login or access the panel
• We provide (2) FREE reinstalls for every Windows VPS subscription during the life of that subscription. Linux Parallels Power Panel allows customers to perform reinstalls without the assistance of our technical support team
