Server Management

All our VPS's are managed by us so you don't have to worry about security upgrades. We will proactively patch critical security issues such as root exploits on all the software we install for you.

For software where there are updates that only add additional functionality, we will not proactively upgrade them. However, you can ask us to do so should you require us to.

And just like on a managed server, you get full root access to your VPS. However, we require you to inform us if and when you change the root password in order to avoid problems later on. We also require you to inform us of any software you install so that we can keep a track of what is installed and be able to troubleshoot faster should there be any conflicts later down the line.

If and when you do install additional software, we will do our best to support you on its usage and installation however, it might take longer for us to resolve any problems that may arise from its usage. We make no guarantees of being able to fix any problems with these additional software.

Please note that this policy does not cover help with any sort of debugging code unless it can be proven that something in the base OS may need upgrading.

We will provide management for an average of 5 hours per month over a rolling 3 month period. This rolling average allows us to get your server configured without you having to worry about excess charges. Outside of this time, we reserve the right to bill you $25.00 per hour with a 30 minute minimum time-frame.
